Agriculture Education Instructor

Stanford is a small rural community nestled between Great Falls and Lewistown along Highway 87. Showdown Ski Resort and the Little Belt Mountains are just moments away. The average K-12 student population is 100 and the teacher/student ratio is 1:7.

The Ag Ed teaching position would be responsible for a Junior High “Intro to Agriculture” class, three High School classes and an Ag Leadership class. Facilities include a full classroom, carpentry workshop, green house, welding and auto mechanic areas.

Additional duties would include class advisor and FFA Advisor. Stanford has a strong FFA program with over 50% of the student body participating. Local support and an engaged Alumni Chapter fosters a program that has students completing locally, statewide and nationally.

The position is ideal for a brand new educator to gain experience in a supportive environment. It is also a great opportunity for a seasoned educator to retreat into a low stress environment.
