Good morning Bearcat fans & community,

It is that time of year again that we start ramping up for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year and of course our Fall sports.  Please remember a physical is due before practice begins. (Anyone that took one in Stanford @ the end of the school year I have on file!)  All the other paperwork will be handed out at Impact Testing.

Fall Coaches for this year:  

- HSFB- Head Coach-Cole Jelinek, Asst. Coach- Riley Joyce; 

-HSVB-Head Coach-Connie Becker, Asst. Coach-Naomi Marquardt; 

-JHFB-Head Coach-Andy Heck, Asst. Coach-Todd Morrow; 

-JHVB- Head Coach-Rachel Lynn, Asst. Coach-Tiara Whitmus

-Important Dates-

-Monday, August 5th & Tuesday, August 6th 

Stanford JH & HS Impact Testing (1 p.m.-5 p.m.) each day.  VB on Monday; FB on Tuesday.  Location-Stanford School Library.  Please plan on 30 to 45 minutes and Mr. Von Bergen will get all the paperwork to each kid at the time of testing.  (If you can't make your day or have both VB & FB athletes, I'm fine to test on the same date.)

-Friday, Aug. 16th-1st Day of HSFB & HSVB practice -HSFB @ Denton 6 p.m.  (later start to allow Coach Jelinek time to wrap up harvest)-HSVB @ Stanford 4 p.m.
-Saturday, Aug. 17th- -HSFB @ Stanford 7 a.m. & HSFB @ Denton 6:30 p.m.-HSVB @ Stanford 7  a.m. & HSVB @ Denton 6:30 p.m.

-Monday, Aug. 19th-Thurs., Aug. 22nd -JHVB (6th-8th grades) will begin @ Stanford 4:30 p.m.-HSVB @ Denton 4:30 p.m.-HSFB @ Denton 4:30 p.m.

-Friday, Aug. 23rd- HSVB, HSFB, & JHVB Coach/Parent Meeting @ Stanford -Times and more info. (TBA)

-1st HSFB Game-DGSG vs. Hot Springs @ Hot Springs 7 p.m.

-1st JH & HSVB matches-DGSG vs. Melstone @ Stanford 3:30 p.m. start
