Fall sports starting soon! 1st Day of HS Cheer, FB, and VB practices will begin Friday, Aug. 12th @ 6 p.m. in Stanford. 1st Day of JH FB and VB practices will begin Monday, Aug. 15th 4:30 p.m. @ Stanford. Please remember to get your physicals completed and in to your respective schools prior to the 1st day of practice. All DGSG athletes need to complete ImPACT Testing prior to 1st day of practice. The following days will be offered for this testing. If you have it completed somewhere else, please bring testing information on the 1st day.
DGSG ImPACT Testing Schedule:
-Monday, August 8th-JH & HS Girls VB and Cheer beginning @ 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. @ Stanford School.
-Tuesday, August 9th-JH & HS Boys FB beginning @ 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.@ Stanford School.
If you have both a JH/ HS football or JH/ HS volleyball player, please feel free to pick a day and we can get both of them in on the same day. If these times will not work, please reach out to Vance Von Bergen or your school's athletic director to get this completed before Aug. 12th's practices. Tests take approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
We would like to do a bit of a rolling start for our kids in grades 1-4. We have some limited federal dollars that allow us to offer some summer programming for a group of 1st and 2nd grade and a 3rd and 4th grade group.
We want to help the littles get their brains restarted so we can really dig in early in the school year.
Monday thru Thursday, August 1-4 and 8-11.
From 8:00-11:00 each day.
Kids will do several activities each morning designed to get their brains working and help with the “summer slide”.
Our 4-day school week is wonderful, but it is toughest on the little ones. This will help them maximize the learning this school year.
There are no buses that will run for this and lunch will not be served. The kids will need to be dropped off 7:45-8:00 and picked up at 11:00.

It's summer vacation! Mr. Wildung's Cage Camp is in session, and Coach Becker's Volleyball Camp and Ms. Mikeson's Dance Camp will start on Monday!
Congratulations to our Stanford athletes who competed in the State Class C Track & Field Championships- Colter Howell took 2nd in the 1600 meter run and Kara Reed-16th place 100 meter run-13.32; 9th place 200 meter run-27.23 (PR); 7th place 400 meter run-1.02.72; 12th place 100 meter hurdles-17.65; 6th place 300 meter hurdles-47.76

Don't forget to order your 2022 yearbooks! Orders and money are due to the school by May 26th! The yearbook staff promises this year's yearbook is full of great memories from this school year! Please join us in congratulating our 8th grade class and our graduating senior on Saturday, May 21st. The 8th grade ceremony will be at 11:00 in the gym, with a reception to follow. Graduation Ceremony for Makayla Bossen will be at 1:00 p.m. Congratulations to all!!

Our Spring Concerts are next week. The Elementary Concert is Wednesday 5/18 at 6:30 p.m. The JH/HS Concert is Thursday 5/19 at 6:30.
Junior High Track Meet is cancelled for today and will not be rescheduled. Sorry but great moisture! JH Track last meet will be Saturday, May 14th in Harlowton.

The Elementary Track and Field Day scheduled for tomorrow has been MOVED to Thursday 5/5/22!
The JH Track meet scheduled for Friday, April 29th in Power has been cancelled due to the incoming weather system. No reschedule for this JH meet. JH track Thursday in Fort Benton is still on and HS Track Saturday in Great Falls still a go.
On Thursday May 5th and Thursday May 12th we will be having Little Bearcats Basketball for grades K1-4, starting at 5:30 p.m. Permission slips are being sent out. Please return permission slips and $10 for t-shirts to the school. Any questions, please contact Mr. Neumann or Mrs. Phillipe. See attached flyer.
The hearing screening scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled. We are looking at rescheduling for Wednesday, May 11th.
Easter Break Reminder: NO school on Monday, April 18th. We WILL have school on FRIDAY, April 22nd.
Track Updates: Both the JH meet Tuesday and the HS meet Thursday have been postponed due to weather. Cut Bank HS meet has been rescheduled to next Tuesday 19th. Belt JH meet is TBD
