Due to only 5 healthy HSFB players, Hobson-Moore has forfeited this Saturday's Varsity FB game to DGSG. JHFB game with Hobson-Moore will still be held @ 10 a.m. but there will be no Varsity FB game on Saturday vs. Hobson-Moore.
We would like to have a Little Bearcat Football game for grades K-5 during halftime of the varsity football game this Saturday, October 5th in Stanford.

Here is an updated FB schedule as there is a slight change with JVFB. We will play CJI, one day later, from Sept. 30th to Tuesday, Oct. 1st in Geraldine still @ 4:30 p.m.
The September 27th volleyball game in Broadview will be "Pack the Place In Gold" for Childhood Cancer awareness. From Broadview: " For the last four years, a young lady in our community battled childhood cancer. In March she lost her fight. Her family, in keeping with her wishes, would like to bring awareness to Childhood Cancer. We will be "packing the place in Gold" during our game on Sept 27."

To allow our students competing at National BPA in Chicago to be a part of our Academic Awards Night, we would like to move the event to start after the Junior High/High School Concert on Wednesday, May 15th. The concert will start at 6:00 PM, with Academic Awards following at 7:00.
Road conditions are treacherous. The wet snow continues to fall and is forecast to do so until at least mid morning. There is currently no power in Stanford. I am making the decision to cancel school for Wednesday, May 8th.
The Board has the authority to declare the situation an emergency at their meeting on the 22nd and we will NOT have to make up the day.

You would think May would be a time to schedule an event and not have to worry about snow. But this is Montana.
I am postponing the awards banquet for one week. We will do it next Tuesday, May 14th, at 6:30.

3rd Annual Academic Awards “Night to Shine” May 7th- This event will serve as a time to shine some light on our students academic achievements. Everyone is invited to attend! Scholarship awards for high school and college students will be announced and presented, the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will take place, there will be music awards, art awards, perfect attendance, honor roll, BPA awards and officers announced, Student Council and more! A lot of great things are happening so join us for a fun-filled evening, and please bring your favorite dessert with you to share! Begins at 6:30 PM.
Due to the weather forecast, our Elementary Track and Field Day is being moved to next Tuesday, May 14th.
We will be holding a Preschool Screening here on Monday, april 29th from 9:00-11:00. Children age 4 or older (by September 10th) are invited to attend. Please call the school office to sign your child up for the screening and get them enrolled for the new school year. (406) 566-2265
