Staff and Families,
We aware of a threat made by email that was sent to numerous individuals, including staff of school districts in Montana on Tuesday evening. We are in communication with our partners in law enforcement. This threat is not believed to be credible, and Stanford School plans to continue with our regular school schedule at this time. There will be an increased law enforcement presence in place that guides our response in the event of a threat. The safety of our school and the kids is our primary function and I do not feel we are in any danger.
It was sent to virtually every school district in the state. I am also working with state education leadership to determine how the emails of so many educators was obtained.
Our school entrances remain locked. Kristi buzzes people into our building. (Or I go open the door if she’s busy because I can’t work the magic buttton).

Our Christmas Concerts are approaching fast! The High School and Middle School conert is Wednesday, December 13th at 6:30 PM. The Elementary concert will follow the next night, Thursday, December 14th at 6:30 PM.
BPA will be having a bake sale during the Christmas Stroll on Saturday, December 9th at the City Hall. Come check it out, 10:00-4:00.
5th & 6th Grades will begin selling Italian Sodas on Thursdays after each lunch period. Many flavors to choose from and for a great price of $3. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of equipment for the playground. Thanks for your support!
Ski Club parent/student informational meeting will be next Tuesday, November 28th at 5:00. Ski Club is for anyone in grades 5-12 who is interested in either learning or bettering their skills in skiing and snowboarding. Can the Griz/Cats Food Drive: Week of November 20th. Bring food items any time next week and put them in your favorite team box. All items collected will be taken to the Judith Basin Food Pantry.
Congratulations to the DGSG Bearcat Volleyball team as they advance to the 2023 Southern C Divisional Volleyball Tournament, Nov. 2nd-4th, in Bridger, MT. They will play @ 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2nd against the #2 seed from the 4C, Roberts.
Congratulations to the HSFB on a great season. Their season ended with a loss @ CJI 55-8.

We will be holding a book fair in the library during Parent/Teacher Conferences! Most books will be priced at $5. Students have opportunities to win "book bucks" to be used to purchase books at the book fair. For every wolf paw a student receives, they will earn $.25 toward a book!
Parent Teacher Conferences are tomorrow afternoon, starting at 4:00.
Report Cards this year will only be accessible on Infinite Campus and will no longer be mailed out. Please email Shelby Fiedler at sfiedler@stanford.k12.mt.us to get an Infinite Campus Login set up. To access your child(ren)'s report card(s), click on each student on the top right corner, then click on the 3 parallel lines on the top left, scroll down to documents, and then click on your student's grade level report card.
